Alyson joined Sheehan in July 2006. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in May 2006 from St. Joseph’s College. Alyson is a Certified Public Accountant in New York State and is a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPA’s (NYSSCPA) and holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the AICPA and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. In May 2014, Alyson was awarded the "Top 30 under 30 Young Professionals Award" by the Huntington Chamber of Commerce.
During her time with Sheehan & Company, Alyson has worked closely with businesses, nonprofit organizations and individuals. She provides a broad range of professional services, including tax preparation, planning, audit and financial statement services, and client accounting services. She is often involved with her client’s problem-solving decisions.
